This is a hard question! I am not sure. I would like to pretend that I am patient, but alas, I am not! I'm not sure anything impacts my lack of patience. I know it is one of the fruits of the spirit, but have not ever gotten that fruit to show up. I try not to ask for it, because then I am tested. I ask for strength. Maybe I am wrong for not seeking more patience!
